The Wyatt Johnson “Subaru Share the Love” Event proved to be a great success for local non-profit, Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation. The Foundation was selected in early January as the Hometown Charity for the local and national dealership campaign giving event.
During the one-month period ending in February 2015 nearly 35 Subaru’s were sold at the Wyatt Johnson dealership and as a result a donation was made to the Education Foundation board from incentive proceeds in the amount of $9,639.00!
The Foundation board accepted the check during their quarterly meeting on April 10th from General Manager Bill Powers, who is also a Foundation Board Member. The proceeds will be used to support the CMC Teacher Warehouse, a free-supply store for CMCSS teachers and their Count Me In Endowment Campaign.
Wyatt Johnson is a strong partner with CMCSS and the lead sponsor of the AP Pass and Go event which takes place in the summer with a car giveaway incentive for one student winner excelling in their Advanced placement courses. Dominos, Premier Medical and Beach Oil are all co-sponsors of the Pass and Go event as well. Earlier this year, Wyatt Johnson presented a $5,000 check to the school system to support AP training for teachers to help students succeed in those courses. Wyatt Johnson is truly a supporter of Public Education in Clarksville-Montgomery County!
