In celebration of National Literacy Day (September 8) and as part of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group 12th annual Responsible Business Action Month, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson launched a book drive with Read Indeed.
The book drive took place in participating hotels to benefit the international charity founded six years ago by Maria Keller, a then eight-year-old girl from Minnesota. Participating in the initiative, Country Inn & Suites By Carlson located in Clarksville, TN hosted a book drive event on October 3, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More than 150 books were collected for the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation’s Teacher Warehouse to be used by local educators in their classrooms.
