What is PIE?
A collaboration between the Clarksville Montgomery County Education Foundation, the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS), and the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Partners In Education (PIE) program works to unite Clarksville-Montgomery Schools with local businesses and organizations for the benefit of our entire community.
Who can be a PIE partner?
Business, faith, and civic organizations in the community have the opportunity to enhance the learning environment in our public schools with their expertise, time, and financial or material resources. This program allows partners to integrate the ideas and energy of our young people with the knowledge and experience of the business and civic community.
What is important to know?
It is important to note that the PIE program is an “official” documented partnership between a career academy, school, entire district, or STEM program and a community business or organization seeking to make a long-term partnership commitment. However, PIE is not a way for community businesses or organizations to solely generate revenue or memberships for their benefit, a method to bypass district policy or a one-time commitment for an activity.
