The 2015 Education Foundation Annual Campaign will take place November 1-20.
This year’s theme will be “United for Public Education.”
For the first time, the Foundation will engage the business community to participate. For $20, teachers and community members will receive a “United for Public Education” t-shirt that they can wear during American Education Week, November 16-20! Limited quantities available.
Proceeds will go to support Foundation programs including CMCSS Kinder-Kits for Kindergarten Readiness, scholarships for deserving local high school seniors and Great Idea Grants for teachers to implement innovative ideas in their classrooms and as school-wide initiatives.
This past year, the Foundation secured $404,000 in support of public education. Of that total, CMCSS employees contributed nearly $37,000 during last year’s campaign.
