Teacher of the Year

The Education Foundation, in partnership with CMCSS, honors teachers selected by their schools to represent CMCSS as the building level Teacher of the Year for their hard work and dedication. There were 48 teachers honored in 2017, with three of them also selected to represent the district at the state level.

The Foundation board believes that as a community we must continue to motivate and support teachers, especially when they go above and beyond to ensure students are successful. This reception is a small way to say “thank you” for the big impact teachers make each day!
